Kiss Eat Dessert Review
Somebody once said 'food is the way to the heart' they were absolutely right! This is especially the case for me when it comes to desserts or anything sweet!
A weekend in London obviously doesn't mean a 'typical' breakfast or brunch. We delved into 'Kiss Eat Dessert' and I opted for the sweetest thing you could order, chocolate and Oreo waffles! The cafe is located on Oxford Street and as we went in the morning it was the perfect place to just sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying breakfast before a day filled with shopping.
Before we discuss the food lets talk about the interior, it is the most instagrammable place ever with flower-walls everywhere. The attention to detail was something else, even the cutlery, cups and plates were adorable. Mission of getting people to go in was achieved because the place just draws you inside. They had gorgeous forest green almost velvet chairs with gold legs and cute little sofas to match which complimented the pink, purple and white flower-walls beautifully.
They have a good menu with options of bubble tea, bubble waffle, smoothies, gelato, milk shakes, waffles, crepes, cakes as well as coffee and hot drinks - there really is something for everyone. There was so much choice with waffle variations, it was a mission in itself to decide what to have. As I mentioned, I opted for the Oreo waffle which came with drizzles of white and milk chocolate sauce, crushed up pieces of Oreo biscuits, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and an Oreo on top along with chocolate shavings. The waffle does come out warm which is really nice as the waffle is quite thin and airy - this does help as it makes it not as sickly to eat. The waffle was the perfect level of sweetness for me as it was not too overpowering. I had this with a coffee as, as nice as the milkshakes and everything sounded, the waffle was enough for me.
My sister did try one of the milkshakes and said it was incredible. The general consensus of our visit was that they managed to get the perfect balance between being sweet enough but not going overboard, whilst also being the prettiest cafe ever.
I would most definitely go back and make my way through the menu as everything sounded so nice. Thankfully I live out of the area, as I know that they deliver and that would not do me any favours.
Let me know some of your favourite brunch or dessert spots! x
